Bobath-Therapie
Bobath therapy is a specialized treatment method for people with neurological diseases such as strokes, multiple sclerosis or Parkinson's disease. The concept was developed by Berta and Karel Bobath and is based on the assumption that the brain is still able to learn new movement patterns even in adulthood - a principle known as neuroplasticity.
As part of the therapy, individual goals are set that support the patient's everyday life. Exercises and mobilization techniques help to improve movements and promote independence. Each step is designed so that it can be seamlessly integrated into everyday activities. Bobath therapists often work closely with other specialist areas and constantly adapt the therapy to the patient's individual needs. The goal is to achieve the best possible quality of life and to strengthen the skills needed for independent living.
