Dry Needling
Dry needling is used to treat muscular tension and pain points (trigger points). This therapy can also be very helpful for chronic pain and restricted mobility. Acupuncture needles are inserted into these previously localized trigger points. The insertion produces a short, local twitch reaction in the hardened muscle. This results in reflexive pain regulation. The oxygen supply to the tense muscle fibers is promoted, the inflammatory reaction is reduced, blood circulation is improved and tension is released. The targeted use of dry needling supports the body's natural healing.
